The Curse of the Thirty Denarii

Specializing in weird and tedious games, HdO Adventure developer didn’t change its concept very much in case with The Curse of the Thirty Denarii. Designed in an odd interactive comic-book style and stogy with text pages to read, this game is extremely plaintive, unimaginative and absolutely dated. The gameplay is correspondingly uninspiring and too easy even for newcomers to the genre. With tons of tiny things, the hidden object scenes are pretty irritating.

Overpowering music, awful voice-acting and some gameplay bugs we have come across in many casual titles, and The Curse of the Thirty Denarii has all this set. In the first minutes we were not sure whether to play or turn it off and go back to something more worthy but when we completed the first hidden object puzzle we were absolutely firm about our decision to throw it away. But then we decided to keep cool and made ourselves play it up to the end.

All in all, the game turned out to be not only very simple but short as well. There is no big deal to complete the game in one hour. Still, we cannot recommend this title our dear players. Never give even an hour of your life to the games like The Curse of the Thirty Denarii.
