The Untold Story of Elizabeth Bathory is the second part in the Vampire Legends casual games series. Just like the first installment, this one was based on a true story. Storyline is great, not confusing, clear and easy to follow. We appreciated that the every character has their own unique personality, making this game even more interesting despite the fact that they looked way too cartoonish. Graphics in general are better than in the first part of the game, yet they are not sharp enough, unfortunately. Plus they are mostly dark, but only to make this game look creepier. But locations look very realistic. Music adds more suspense to the plot, it perfectly fits the dark atmosphere and the storyline. Voiceovers are also very well done.

In terms of gameplay this hidden object game for computers didn’t bring anything new to the genre, but still it was entertaining and fun to play. It is smooth, we didn’t even notice how fast time flew. There’s a good and useful interactive map, a diary and custom difficulty mode. Puzzles, unfortunately, are not very creative, but various, just like the hidden object scenes that come in different formats. All in all the gameplay is basic and absolutely not impressive.

In our opinion The Untold Story of Elizabeth Bathory is that game had a great potential, mostly because of a strong storyline. But it turned to be a typical hidden object game to download for free with nothing special to remember. Anyway if you play it the chilling mood is guaranteed.
