AGON: From Lapland to Madagascar developed by Private Moon Studios tells us the story about some charmed families who have been forced to guard the ancient game. This title is not a bad adventure game but it is very confusing at times. Let us start the parade of game flaws. .. Read more

As soon as you start playing, you will feel uncomfortable with the navigation style of this game. First, it is hard to figure out how to move the protagonist. As usual you get an arrow but all of a sudden this very arrow vanishes and there is no indication of how to progress. To crown it all, if you move the cursor quickly, the screen will move very quickly which is sort of loathing. Secondly, there is so much in-game information you have to understand why and what you have to do that if took all the time you needed to read it all, you would play it for ages and ages. AGON: From Lapland to Madagascar is overloaded with background information and things you need to keep in your head.

Top it off, the developers decide to leave us face to face with the game and do not give us any hint, tips or help. Moreover, there is no map in the game and this fact always makes you bewildered. Even the notorious Nancy Drew is always able to call one of her friend’s if she is at a loss. Surely, you can use the walkthrough posted by the players, but the game lose its fun portion.

AGON: From Lapland to Madagascar’s graphics are really good. There are maybe a few spots that are a little uneven, but overall very nice and not too dark. However, the fine artwork cannot hide the numerous defects of gameplay. Very poor (((
