Crafting Dead

Starting just as a zombie-themed Minecraft mod, Crafting Dead quickly turned into a standalone survival crafting unit. The main reason for that was the Minecraft limitations in terms of what a developer was trying to achieve with the mod. According to the user feedback, players were more into the action side of the game. They wanted to hunt down zombies with an impressive arsenal of weapons. To accomplish that, it was decided to improve the crafting system and give more possibilities for looting. Chances to run into zombies increased respectively. Only a few bites divide players from death, but there is a plot twist. A cure can be found and used for getting well. The game mechanics are like the Minecraft ones. Players have to collect resources and look for equipment, including weapons. Recipes assist in making complicated tools for further mining and exploring the whereabouts. Since servers are populated, you can run into other survivors. It's up to you to become friends and trade with them or provide any other assistance or end their life for loot. As a side note, developer Ferullo Gaming still supports the mod, so it might be nice to give it a try to familiarize yourself with the Crafting Dead gameplay.
