The gameplay takes place in the summer of 1963, at the Kellerman Mountain House, the same setting as in the movie. You start with creating your character’s avatar. There is plenty of options that allow you to create a character similar to real you. You can choose sex, skin tone, hair, facial features, and outfit, which is kind of fun. After that you can explore the camp and start solving the tasks you meet on your way.

In order to win the game, you need to buy new dance steps. Once you’ve unlocked them, you need to learn how to dance. You must click the dancing steps as the flash on the screen. Keep the right timing and you and your confidence meter will go up. You are ready to participate in the ultimate dance contest once the confidence meter is full.
