Valheim
Iron Gate Studios team managed to release a stunning game with a large portion of Viking folklore there. It's a survival crafting set in an open world of the tenth Norse realm. As the plot suggests, you're assuming the role of a fallen warrior who was carried away from the battlefield by Valkyries right to Valheim. This new home is packed with Odin's enemies and it's up to you to bring peace and order to that land. The learning curve is friendly to newcomers and any new content will be explained to you in detail. Like every same game in the genre, you're supposed to collect resources, fight enemies, and level up your weapons. Procedurally-generated biomes have plenty of room for all that. The first thing you should do is build a shelter with structural integrity in mind. You must make it rain-proof and constantly adjust the level of comfort inside. All of these rewards you with score points for further upgrade. The combat system is easy to learn and there are a lot of bosses and other players to practice your combat skills on. However, beware of punishment for death. After your playable character dies, its belongings are up for grabs and there will be several players ready to loot it. All in all, Valheim is a very promising and captivating game that suits best when it's played in online co-op mode.
