Edge of Space
Edge of Space is an open world survival craft game developed by HandyMan Studios. But the right term here is 'underdeveloped'. The whole game making was marred by troubles, hackers' exploits (if you're interested in it, check out the project's Kickstarter page), undelivered promises, and ultimately abandonment of the game. Players and backers were promised constant updates and exclusive in-game items but in reality, it was hard for some of them even to obtain a game key after the so-called release date. Speaking of the game itself, it drew inspiration from Terraria and Starbound. It's a two-dimensional sandbox game where everything is possible until you get to the bug that will either crash the game or make it impossible for you to progress any further. Here you'll find base-building mechanics and constant grind when it comes to collecting resources and self-defending against ominous and ever-present enemies. The announced multiplayer feature never happened. There are no descriptions for some items leaving you guessing what it does by yourself. You're free to explore a procedurally-generated environment but there are only 3 kinds of biomes around you'll get bored pretty quickly. Edge of Space can only be recommended as a gift to your worst enemy. Jokes aside, skip it by any means.
