Not long ago the famous Russian casual game developer named Alawar Entertainment has introduced the players to their piping hot creation, the new physics-based puzzle game under the title Lost Head. Well, if you aspire to improve your intellectual abilities, you’ve just found exactly what you need!.. Read more
The objective of the game is simple as ABC. In short, all you need to do is to help a zombie rag doll or a kind of Frankenstein’s monster get its severed head. It would seem, nothing complicated, especially given that the obstacles you encourage at the initial levels are brazenly simple. However, do not let first impressions fool you! The fact is that playing Lost Head you’ll have to take a huge number of factors into account, including an object’s weight, acceleration, force of gravity, trajectory and so on. Thus, the solution to the puzzle, which seemed pretty logical in theory, could appear simply unacceptable in practice. In truth, even though our huge gaming experience and great love for puzzles, pretty soon we have found ourselves in quite a predicament. You get 1 to 3 stars per level depending on how fast you have managed to complete the main task, and these stars are then spent to unlock the new chapters. Imagine our chagrin when after overcoming the first 15 levels, we learned that the number of stars we’ve gained is not enough to unlock the next chapter, and the ‘useless’ bonuses that we’ve resolutely ignored appeared to be the trophies!
Cut a long story short, we have failed to conquer the game on the first attempt. If you enjoy truly challenging brain teasers, such as Running Sheep and Running Sheep: Tiny Worlds, Lost Head will give you about 3 to 5 hours of pure pleasure. Unpretentious graphics, comical sound effects, uncommon achievement system and extremely addictive puzzles, which can only be solved by trial and error, make Lost Head pretty charming and fun. In fine, give it a try, and we bet you’ll love this game!
