Live Novels: Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice

Actually, this is not the first game that’s based on the famous novel “Pride and Prejudice”, and this one is probably the worst one, unfortunately. Since it’s based on a book – the storyline is already not original, plus it’s even ruined at some point. The game mostly contains of the scrolling scenes which is not just confusing, but annoying as well.

As for the gameplay, well, it’s a basic hidden object game for pc and mac, so expect many locations to go through and hidden items scattered around them asking to be found. Bad thing that this is an easy game, items are easy to spot and the hint is probably the fastest to recharge.

On a visual side Live Novels aren’t bad but aren’t great either. There are some actually pretty scenes and locations, but they don’t look crisp, sharp and clear. Perhaps it was okay for a game made in 2012, but still, the production could have been way better. Music is fine, but some tracks are repetitive which is annoying, but thanks god for the mute button.

As you can see, we are very disappointed.  Live Novels: Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is not the best game for pc and mac ever, and not only because it’s old. The creators could have at least saved the original plot and make graphics look better. You can download this game for free, but only if you are curious or need something to roll your eyes at ;)
