Stone Rage

Stone Rage is an open-world survival craft game and the sole effort of a small group of indie developers from Mountainwheel Games. The game is set in Stone Age and includes two playable human classes: Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal. Each of these has its distinctive abilities. It's a good idea to try out each of them in action to find out the one suits your play style. Female characters are also available. The Stone Age obliges to operate with historically authentic resources and tools. First of all, you need to make some clothes. Depending on settings, your playable character can spawn on a beach completely naked. Along with clothing, you'd better forage as your stamina isn't full by default and runs out pretty fast. After that, you're free to roam across varied biomes in a 30 square km open-world map. Collected resources can be transformed into a pickaxe. Basic pickaxe sustains a lot of damage and wears out fast. Upgrades make tools more durable. With the right tools at hand, you can start building shelter and hunting for substantial meals like raw meat. The hunting mechanics are interesting but beware of turning into prey in the process. Later in the game, idols, your character worships can grant you a special ability of shape-shifting into a sabretooth tiger or mammoth. This innovation adds to the replayability of the Stone Rage and makes an evening with a group of your friends quite entertaining.
