Valnir Rok Survival RPG is an MMO sandbox set in an open-world environment inspired by Viking folklore. Here you're offered to trace the path of a warrior who endlessly struggles with hunger, thirst, and providing itself with housing and means to upgrade skills. In PvE servers, you should beware of the wildlife as it's vicious and not that easy to beat down, especially wolves, bears, and fabulous monsters. Base-building mechanics are tedious and it's more comfortable to construct things with the help of your friends. Keep in mind that you'll have to defend your settlement afterward. PvP servers can throw in challenges. You'll win battles with other players using skills and skillful melee tactics. But this where problems occur. Although Valnir Rok appeared on Steam back in 2017, it's still in the Early Access stage. This and multiple reports on empty servers must be red flags for you. Avoid it and buy Valheim instead if you're a fan of Norse-inspired RPG survival action games.
