Youda Mystery: The Stanwick Legacy

According to the story, the main heroine, Emma, inherits a strange old mansion and has to disclose some ancient secrets. We have seen this type of story many times before though, we still find this rather intriguing. The game begins with familiarity with a journal and map. The map doesn’t let you go from scene to scene but it does show you where you are, what scenes are unlocked and what still are not available. The journal helps you with hints and clues. Puzzles have no instructions but they are not difficult at all to crack.

Although the artwork of this title isn’t the best one, we still appreciate it as a good one. The graphics are clear and sharp but hidden object job is complicated by dark colors. Moreover, most of items are just artfully hidden. The gameplay is very smooth without any bugs or jerks. There are also voice-overs which are made quite well and the music background enhances the game atmosphere.   

While the story cannot raise the hair on the back of your neck, it is surely well-done. Simple story mixed in with all the dark without any occult points looks rather family friendly. Youda Mystery: The Stanwick Legacy is not a long game, offering about 3 hours of play.

Overall, based on fine story and polished gameplay, Youda Mystery: The Stanwick Legacy can provide you with challenging Hidden Object play.
