You are offered to solve 16 different crimes in over sixty unique locations, each with its own story. What is cute is that you can choose how much story you would like to read or hear. The game is very flexible well serving as for those who do not like many cutscenes as for those who like a lot of story. Either way, the crimes are very intriguing, involving plenty of twists.

The gameplay is flavored with numerous hidden object tasks, along with many spot the difference puzzles. Being always skeptical about the spot-the-difference scenes, these are well executed and entertaining. The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes is packed with challenging inventory puzzles to complete, and there is a variety of mini-games. These involve quite ordinary tasks from cracking codes to logic puzzles, but there is a little something for everything. The only complaint is the final scene, which make you solving just a simple and memory game. It seems that the developers get exhausted by the end and used up their imagination.     

However, the portrayal of the characters is absolutely fine. The heroes have a well done mimicry what makes them more attractive. In spite of this fact that there are a lot of puzzles, they are repeating from scene to scene and might be boring after a while. While playing The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes 2, make pauses and it won’t be so annoying. Have fun!
